Michael Grace Timber is a family company that has been manufacturing high quality timber products for the past 25 years. We supply the Irish market with products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries.
The company primarily sources its timber from Coillte managed forests in the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. Our secondary source is The Irish Forestry Unit Trust, which also supplies FSC timber.
Our company obtains mature Douglas Fir, Larch, Sitka Spruce and Scots Pine timber from Coillte’s and IFUT’s tenements, and carefully grades and mills the timber for our customers, who include Saint Gobain Building Distribution (ROI) Ltd (PDM), ESB, Bord na Mona, numerous hardware merchants, builders, and the agricultural sector.
Such timber is supplied for a multitude of uses, either untreated or pressure treated with preservative. Timber products include solid wood boards, beams, planks, carcassing, poles, piles, posts, post & rail fencing, fence stakes and pickets, pallets, preservative impregnated roundwood, preservative impregnated fencing and sleepers, woodchip, sawdust and bark.
